Handbrake Not Rip DVD? Fixed

I was told Handbrake was a great (and free) DVD ripper. A friend of mine burned some DVD’s for me and I’m trying to rip them to my PC. I have both Magic DVD Ripper and Handbrake. Magic DVD Ripper works perfect, Handbrake works great but it only rips part of the video. On a 50 minute video it rips about 14 minutes every time. I tried changing it from chapters to seconds and making sure that I had it from 0 until the end I tried changing the quality of the video (all of these videos are lower quality SD). Magic DVD Ripper only has so many rips for free on it so I was hoping to use Handbrake but I can’t seem to get it to record a full video.

Searching a lot, I got know Handbrake is a converter, not a ripper. The reason you only ever get the first fifteen minutes is because the video is apparently multiple titles, the first being fifteen minutes long.

You could queue up your first conversion, select the next title from the dropdown, configure and queue that, until you havw them all, then process the queue, or install a ripping program to slove Handbarke not rip DVD issue.  DumboFab DVD Ripper can rip DVD to any format or device without transcoding.
